POSITION: JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN- Animas NM

Columbus Electric Cooperative has an immediate opening for a qualified Journeyman Lineman with at least four years of experience in the construction and maintenance of electric distribution and transmission lines. Completion of a four-year apprentice training program is desired.

Columbus Electric owns and operates over 2,100 miles of distribution power lines in southwestern New Mexico and southeastern Arizona. We have a headquarters office in Deming, NM and a service center in Animas, NM.

POSITION: SERVICE TECH 1/DATA COLLECTOR- Deming NM

Salary $37,000 - $52,000 based on applicable experience and skill

Columbus Electric Cooperative has an immediate opening for a qualified Service Tech 1/Data Collector. Applicants must have a high school diploma, a combination of education and experience in technical training or a few years in electrical/metering work. Previous electric utility experience is preferred.
