CEC serves approximately 2500 members in a four county area, Luna, Grant and Hidalgo in New Mexico and Cochise County in Arizona.

CEC provides such services as home or business energy audits, an energy saving water heater program and electric thermal storage heating (ETS) units, an alternative to wood or gas heating. When coupled with the optional Time-of-Use (off-peak) rates offered to CEC's residential or business members, these heaters can provide considerable saving and safety in heating needs. Financing arrangements are available.

CEC offers rebates for customers installing electric heating systems and to irrigation customers connecting or installing electric pump motors. Contact the Co-op for details.

We offer budget billing to those consumers with good credit, who have been connected for at least one year.
