Financial Assistance

If you have difficulty paying your bill and feel you may qualify for assistance from the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), contact the New Mexico Human Service Department at 1-800-432-6217, or contact a Columbus Electric member services representative.

Applications for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program are available at the Human Services Department or you may download an application by going to http://www.hsd.state.nm.us/isd/liheap.html. New Mexico Human Services Department administers the programs and determines assistance eligibility.
